The key to the Company's success is its value-added approach, which allows it to originate both non-conforming commercial loans as well as traditional loans. Non-conforming loans are primarily hard money loans. 'Non-conforming' means

• Creditworthiness: applicant does not qualify for standard financing; or
• Structure: loan structure itself is non-standard; or
• Collateral: assets are non-traditional.
